i’ve had a crush on these ikat curtains for a while now.
i so badly want them for my master bedroom.

5 1/2 yards x $20.39 = $112.00
$112.00 is much more than i wanted to spend.
while browsing the isles of my local discount fabric store, home fabrics, i found this ikat inspired fabric.
$5.99/yard x 5 1/2 yards = $33.00
ahhh, much better.
now i just need to get sewing.
my family arrives this thursday for a visit and i want things to look perfect.
does anyone else turn into a crazy person when guests are staying?

And YES, I get really crazy with projects before friends and family come over… I grew up with my mom naming her drapes by which party they were made for… haha! I guess all of us DIY people just need a reason to make a change!
